Cartesian printing
Cartesian 3D printers are the most common FDM 3D printer found on the market. Based on the Cartesian coordinate system in mathematics, this technology uses three-axis: X, Y, and Z to determine the correct positions and direction of the print head.
This method gives a good printing speed with variable qualities depending on the speed. Great for prototyping or for pieces where perfect quality is not needed.

Resin printing
Resin or synthetic resin are UV-curing liquid plastics. These materials are used in stereolithography 3D printers. The photosensitive resin can be cured by laser or light and thus transformed into a solid model. The liquid resin is exposed at the desired locations with the 3D printer, curing the resin.
This method gives you the best quality and strenght but is more time consuming as model cleaning and curring are required.
